Aroh-Giving Hope

Cancer is the one of the leading causes of death by disease among children.

We at Aroh, do not want the children and their families to fight this battle alone. Founded in 2013, we have embarked on a mission to provide services to children with cancer and their families. We are currently working in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

There are different types of childhood cancers and they are often different than adult cancers. Childhood cancer has a higher survival rate than adult cancer.

Medical Support

We offer patient navigation, help with diagnostic tests, pay medical support with surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. We also distribute medicines and help with tests and scans.

Food & Nutrition

We provide food to the patient and the care giver through tie-ups with hospital canteens and outside restaurants. We also distribute health drinks, dry fruits and fruits to the children.

Psycho-Social Support

Our strong Parent Support Group empowers and supports its members. We provide counselling to the parents and children whenever necessary.

Education

We conduct monthly classes to give awareness and exposure to the children on various aspects of life. We give school fees and stationery to all the school going kids every year.

Our Presence

We work for children with cancer in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
